SoundWalks are guided tours that encourage participants to interpret their environment, culture, and history through sound. The Duquesne SoundWalk at the Frick was created by a team of students in Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music, led by Dr. Nicole Vilkner, Assistant Professor of Music. The installment features seventeen exhibits, or SoundSites, that can be experienced in any order.  Experience the SoundWalk with walking shoes and a smart device, or simply browse the exhibits here.

This project was funded by Duquesne University's Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research and received the 2023 John G. Rangos, Sr. Prize.
